Field help (BSITYP)

Use this field to select the data type in the field:

Segment ID - used to recognize the beginning of a segment

Field ID - used to recognize the beginning of a segment

Data - used to analyze data

Constant - used for values that are mandatory for the bank statement import process but are not available in an import file.

Note: A constant is typically required for an AR Lockbox segment definition because the CSV file from the bank does not include a currency code or payment sign. Both values are in the bank statement import process. If a constant is required, it is entered in the Formula field without quotation marks.
