Accounting Inquiry Total
Use this activity code to make the Balance tab available instead of having the button displayed in the accounting inquiry screens (Accounts, Analytical accounts, Sections) to present the balances and total of the selection.
This activity code (CNT)is the reverse of the CNU - Accounting inquiry total activity code.
- If the activity code CNT is active, the CNU activity code is inactive. In this case, the Balances tab is displayed in the accounting inquiry screens. It displays the balances and totals of the selection. The Balance button is not available.
- Conversely, if the activity code CNU is active, the CNT activity code is inactive. In this case, the Balances tab is not displayed but the Balance button is available. You can click on this button to display on demand the balances and totals of the inquiry.
Recommended values
The information is best displayed when balances and totals are presented at the tab level. However, if you are dealing with a lot of data, you can activate the CNU activity code to enhance performance : data are only populated when a request is performed where they are researched and not automatically. Limit: in this case, the fields in the total selection criteria are not calculated.
