Delivery Text Position

When a packing slip is created, an accompanying text to the selected delivery address can be printed on this packing slip.

In this parameter, specify whether this text should be displayed in the header or footer of the packing slip.

Level of localization/Global variable

This parameter is defined at the level Site. It belongs to Chapter VEN (Sales) and the Group TEX (Text management), The following parameters are also associated with this chapter and group :

SALTEXINV (Invoice text position)
SALTEXLIN (Product text tracking)
SALTEXORD (Order text position)
SALTEXPRP (Picking text position)

The global variable GSALTEXDLV is associated with it.

Comments

The addresses of the ship-to customers are defined in the Ship-to customers tab of the Customer record.

To enter text: from any line in the address code table, right-click to select Packing slip text in the context menu.
In the Text block, a check box indicates that text has been entered. When a delivery is entered, you can modify this accompanying text or add another one (in the footer or the header, depending on the cases).

The delivery header or footer texts are never transferred to the invoice when the packing slip is invoiced.
