Data warehouse validation

This function is used to create or update the tables storing the business intelligence data in the datamart. It must be used when first creating the datamart, but also in case the data structures are updated (for the facts tables or dimensions).

If the corresponding universe should be updated, it will be necessary to use the corresponding operation.

Entry screen

The list of data warehouse to update is simply entered.

Code (field CODDOS)

Use this check box to define the list of datawarehouses to be processed.

Options

Forced validation (field FORCE)

When checked this box makes it possible to force the update of the datamart tables during the revalidation. If it is not checked, the update only takes place if the structure has been changed.
Forced user creation (field USR)

Batch task

This function can be run in batch mode. The standard task ABIVALBAS is provided for that purpose.

Error messages

The only error messages are the generic ones.
