AQL calculation tables

The Acceptable Quality Level is intended to assess the quality of a product. To determine the AQL, it is necessary to calculate:

  • the sampling code,
  • the AQL value.

Q

Example:
Let us consider an inittial lot of 100 parts and an AQL equal to 25: the sampling code is F and the sampling size contains 20 parts.
As a consequence, the acceptance criterion is 1:
- if the number of non-complying parts is less than or equal to 1, the sample is accepted.
- if the number of non-complying parts is greater than or equal to 2, the sample is rejected.
