This function is used to reset the folder transactions to zero; after start-up in test mode and a recovery of the folder's permanent data (chart of accounts, customers, products, etc.), it may be useful to purge the database of the transactions created in the test phase, just before the import of the actual transactions and the operational start-up of a folder.

Screen management

Entry screen

The only information to enter is the name of the folder to proceed. A confirmation is required, with the following message:

Are you sure you want to reinitialize the XXX folder ?

Once confirmed, the operation is started, and a log file is generated to detail the results of the operation.

Batch task

This function can be run in batch mode, but no dedicated standard task is delivered to run it.

Error messages

In addition to the generic error messages, the following messages can appear during the entry :

N users in the folder

It has not been possible to start the operation, because users were still connected to the folder (because the operation must be run in mono-user mode). If the user launching the operation is the only one connected to a folder and an attempt is made to start the resetting to zero in the connection folder, this message will be displayed with N equal to 1.
