This function is used to search all the places in dictionary tables where the text in question is used (titles of tables, fields, blocks, etc.), in the current language.

Screen management

Entry screen

The text in question is entered. If this text does not exist in the translatable text table of the dictionary (ATEXTE), an error message is displayed. If several identical messages exist, a window opens in order for the user to select the exact meaning. For example, this is the case for the term Department, which can mean regionor part of a company.

The search is then carried out in the different dictionary tables (all those which use translatable texts, of the ATX type). A detailed log file lists the places where the text in question has been found.

Error messages

In addition to the generic error messages, the following messages can appear during the entry :

Text does not exist
