Request for Quote user

This parameter is used to define the user type assigned to a request for quote. The user description will depend on this parameter.

The values possible for this parameter are: Requester, Buyer.

• Requester: This is the user that has issued the request for quote (RFQ). No restriction is applied.
• Buyer: This is a user code designating a Buyer. Restrictions can exist if the BUYFLT parameter (filter by buyer) is set to Yes. In this case, the buyer code is mandatory and only the products managed by this buyer and those managed by no buyer can be chosen for a request for quote.

Level of localization / Global variable

This parameter is defined at the level Site. It belongs to Chapter ACH (Purchase) and the Group AUZ (Authorizations), The following parameters are also associated with this chapter and group :

• BUYFLT (Filter by buyer)
• POHMINAMT (Order min amount control)
• POHMINQTY (Minimum order qty control)

The global variable GPQHBUY is associated with it.
