Use this parameter to define the maximum number of companies allowed when running a dimension balance inquiry. If you do not enter a number, a default value of 50 companies maximum is used. Limiting the number of companies per inquiry could improve performance.

This value applies to individual companies and company groups.

For example, if you enter a value of 40 companies maximum, you receive a blocking message if a company group includes more than 40 companies: “Too many companies (40)”.

Note: Although there are no restrictions, performance is not guaranteed on dimension balance inquiries for more than 50 companies at one time.

Level of localization/Global variable

This parameter is defined at the level Folder. It belongs to Chapter CPT (Accounting) and the Group ANA (Analytical management rules).

The global variable GBLAMAXCPY is associated with it.
