Password Management

This parameter is used to enter the maximum life span duration for passwords defined by the users.

Level of localization / Global variable

This parameter is defined at the level Folder. It belongs to Chapter SUP (Supervisor) and the Group SEC (Security), The following parameters are also associated with this chapter and group :

• ADMUSR (Super user)
• MAILSAGE (Sage license e-mail address)
• NBRCON (No. full connections/licences)
• PASLNG (Length of password)
• PASSWD (Require password)
• SSOCLAOBJ (Class for LDAP search)
• SSOCONNECT (SSO connection)

No global variable is associated with it.

Functions concerned

Upon connection of a user, if the current date is later than the last modification date of the password plus the number of days defined in this parameter, the new password definition window opens and it is not possible to log on before having entered a new password.

Comments

If the value of the parameter is 0, no check on the password validity is made.
