Activate features

All the features related to the e-invoicing process are controlled by the EINV – Electronic invoice activity code, which requires a license.

Contact Sage or your business partner for details about the license.

This activity code is not active by default because the features are not yet finalized at the time of this release. However, you can activate the code to test the e-invoicing process with developments delivered so far.

In addition to seamless updates to existing functions, a new E-invoicing menu was delivered under the Declarations menu with a complement of functions dedicated to the e-invoicing framework.

Similarly, several general parameters manage the e-invoicing process. They are in the Common data (TC) chapter, Invoicing rules (INV) group.

Technical prerequisites

You need to update to 2024 R2 release or next. Sage highly recommends that you activate e-invoicing in a test environment or test folder.

As of the 2024 R2 release, e-invoicing functionality requires a license. Ask Sage or your business partner for details.

Do not activate in the production environment if you run the 2024 R2 release.
