ILOG connector

Open: Administration > Utilities > Installation > Ilog Connector

The ILOG connector provides a link between Sage X3, physical weighing scales, and Gantt charts.

Use the wizard to install it.

1. Open the downloaded installation file (safex3-ilogconnector-installer-x86_64.exe).

   

2. Select Next.
3. When the installation is complete, select Finish.
4. Read the terms of the License Agreement. If you agree with them, select Yes.
5. Read the terms of the next License Agreement. If you agree with them, select Yes.

Compatible weigh scales

Two companies manufacture weigh scales that are compatible with the Sage X3 Weighing module: METTLER TOLEDO and Minebea Intec.

Weigh scales are connected to the client via the COM port (RS232).

To eliminate the need for physical interaction, the Mettler SICS protocol has a Full control mode. Full control mode provides complete remote control of METTLER TOLEDO scales and indicators.

Configuration: Full control mode

To remove the need for physical interaction with METTLER TOLEDO scales and indicators using the SICS protocol, Sage X3 sends RAZ and TAR commands directly.

To achieve Full control mode, you need to complete the following steps:

1. Locate your Weighing connector install directory. For example, C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage\WeighingConnector\.

2. Open the x3Scales.ini file.

   In the Communication section, add FullControlMode=1.

   If the Communication section is missing, you need to add [Communication].

3. In the Weighing module:

   1. Select the Zero button.
   2. Select the Tare button.
