Configure on-premise server
To configure an on-premise server, you need to declare the host and port. Declaring a proxy is also possible, but not mandatory.
When configuring an on-premise server, the option Enable security is automatically activated. Use the Enable security option to secure connection between the Syracuse server and the Elasticsearch server.
If the Enable security option is deactivated, authentication is not required. If it's activated, TLS authentication (certificate) and User authentication are mandatory.
You can find certificates for TLS authorization here: C:\dev\tools\Elasticsearch\elasticsearch-8.8.0\config\certs
For user authentication, you can use the Elasticsearch superuser and the password for said user provided when a deployment was created for Elasticsearch. This password can be changed in the Elasticsearch account settings.
