Use the plugin for Word

The Word plugin is available directly from:

  • Many Sage X3 pages, such as the details read-only pages

  • The CRM function linked to mass mailing

  • The quotes function

The connection page is identical to the Excel connection page. You can use existing templates or create new ones. The right panel has two tabs:

  • The Setting tab, which is identical to the Excel tab

  • The Field tab

The Field tab presents the fields available on the original document. If the template is created, you can:

  • Create text and add variables

  • Modify or use the template directly as it is

You can add a variable at the current cursor position by double-clicking on a property. You can switch from design mode to preview with the preview icon present on the top bar in the Sage panel.

The mass mailing function works exactly as before once a template has been created.
