Low-level Codes Resynchronization
The use of this function is only justified if there are already BOMs in the database.
Each creation or deletion of a BOM link update a Product-BOM (ITMBOM) table that contains, for each product-alternative combination, indications on the use of the product in a BOM structure (whether as parent product and/or component) and its level in this structure.
The code at the lowest level of a component is then used in the sorts in the cost calculation and requirement calculation processes.
Screen management
This process is exclusive.
The function launch screen is used to choose the BOM alternative for which the resynchronization has been launched.
It is possible to demand the execution of the process for all the BOM alternatives in the database by checking the corresponding box, all of the ITMBOM file is then processed.
The process starts with the deletion of the records in the ITMBOM then the rereading of all the BOMs involved to recreate the codes at the lowest level. The any information or error messages are given in the log file.
This process is also used to purge any records that are no longer active (following the deletion of BOMs).

Batch task
This function can be run in batch mode. The standard task SYNCLLC is provided for that purpose.
Error messages
In addition to the generic error messages, the following messages can appear during the entry :
At least one alternative must be entered
Message appearing when no alternative number is given and the box is not checked.
Resynchronization codes at the lowest level in process
The process is already in process on another workstation.
Locking error in the BOM header/BOM link/Product BOM
One of these tables is already locked and the process cannot be launched.
Product BOM ....deleted records (ITMBOM)
Previous deletion related to an alternative
Write error on the Product BOM file (ITMBOM)
Alternative xxx Transaction interrupted
When an error occurs, the resynchronization must be relaunched for the specified alternative.
Alternative xxx Resynchronization code lowest level
Message indicating that the process has taken place correctly for the alternative involved.
