Require Password
This setup is used to define if a password is mandatory for the users (if this is not the case, an empty password can be entered).
When this parameter is set to Yes, creating a new user, as well canceling the password of a new user, will trigger the allocation of a new temporary password. This temporary password is either displayed on screen, or sent in a message to the concerned user if a related workflow event exists. The user will then have to change the temporary password upon first connection (otherwise he will not be able to log in).

This parameter is defined at the level Folder. It belongs to Chapter SUP (Supervisor) and the Group SEC (Security), The following parameters are also associated with this chapter and group :
