Legislations
Use this function to copy and update a folder with one or several legislations.
The legislations and the related setup kits copy from source to destination on folder validation.

Use this field to define the folder from which the record will be copied. The possible syntaxes are described in the Dedicated appendix. |

Use this field to define the folder to which the record will be copied. The possible syntaxes are described in the Dedicated appendix. |
Tab Legislations
For each folder, you can select the legislation or legislations to be copied or updated.
You can also decide how empty legislations are handled during the process.
In the Conditional copytable, select the table subgroups to be copied to the destination folder. Subgroups can include, but are not limited to:
- Counters
- Parameters
- General chart of accounts
- Analytical chart of accounts
- Fixed asset data
Grid Source legislation
Legislation (field LEG) |
This field displays the legislation code for the country, for example FRA for French legislation. This code is attached to a company and assigns predetermined rules and parameters necessary to fulfill country-specific legal requirements. It can include calculation rules, legal reports, legal declarations, tax management, and so on. Legislations are defined in Miscellaneous table 909. General parameters can also be defined at the legislation level. |

Grid Destination legislation

This field displays the legislation code for the country, for example FRA for French legislation. Copy option
Add empty legislation (field AJOUT) |
If you select this check box, records with empty legislations (no legislation defined) are copied to the destination folder. If you do not select this check box, the records of the original legislations are copied if they do not exist in the destination folder. |
Detailed log file (field DETAIL) |
Select this check box to generate a detailed log file of legislations and entries copied. |
Grid Conditional copy
Copy options (field LIBCOP) |
The copy option is associated with the copy type in the case of a conditional copy. You can decide which data from several table subgroups are copied from the source folder to the destination folder. |
Y/N (field OPTINI) |
Select Yes or No on a line to copy that subgroup to the destination folder. |
Tab Setup kits
In these tables, enter the setup kits for the legislations you want to copy from the Source folder to the Destination folder, as defined in the Header section.
