Personalization
This function is used to change some setups concerning the preferences of the user or default values. Only the setups that the user himself/herself is authorized to modify appear in this screen, unlike the user record, where all user setups can potentially be displayed.
Prerequisite
Refer to documentation Implementation
Screen management
Header
The code of the current user is displayed in the header, and the information that can be modified is then displayed in two tabs.
User (field USR) |
It corresponds to the connection user code. |
Tab Options
This screen is used to define, on the one hand, a set of user setups that can be modified by the user himself/herself, and, on the other hand, the destinations suggested by default concerning prints for which there is no default printer, according to the requested destination type.
Grid Parameters
Chapter (field DESCHP) |
This field, that is displayed only, defines the chapter where the concerned parameter is located. |
Group (field GRPPAR) |
This field, that is displayed only, defines the group where the concerned parameter is located. |
Parameter (field PARAM) |
This code identifies the parameter to be entered. |
Description (field NAME) |
Title associated with the previous code. |
Value (field VALEUR) |
The parameter value is entered here. Depending on the case, this value is entered as if it were a number, a date or an alphanumeric code. When the parameter is of local menu type, it is possible to enter either the beginning of the name or the numeric value corresponding to the position of the name in the list. When the code is controlled by an annex table, a selection key may be used to select it. |
Level (field NIVEAU) |
This field indicates the level of definition of the entered parameter. It can take the values defined in the local menu 987. When the level is indicated for a group of parameters, the finest level encountered for the group parameters is the one to be displayed. |
Grid Default destinations
Type (field TYPIMP) |
This displayed field defines the type of destination from the values of the number 22 local parameterizable menu. |
Destination (field PRTDEF) |
This code identifies for each type of printer defined by the 22 parameterizable local menu a printing destination which will be proposed by default when launching a report in the absence of a more accurate rule. |
Miscellaneous
Title bar (field TIT) | ||||||||||
This field is used to define by means of a calculated expression the content of the title bar of the software window. By default, the title is as follows : FOLDER SOFTWARE NAME - [Name of the current function] The FOLDER and SOFTWARE NAME fields are replaced by the result of the formula evaluation, if any. It is namely possible to display constants in this formula, but also the following global variables and functions :
It should be noted that this title is only evaluated once on entry in to the software. |
Help |
This option displays the help relating to the setups of the current line. |
Tab Menu
This tab, which cannot be accessed via user management, is used to specify shortcuts to functions via specified keys (the keys to are assigned for that purpose, but is is also possible to access the functions via the Tools menu located in the upper menu bar). Any function can thus be called, provided that its code has been entered in the grid (the keys are allocated following the order of the grid). To launch a function in this way, a second session must be opened.
In addition to the name of the function, the code of the transaction (or the screen, or the additional setup) is entered, if the function admits such a setup.
It should be noted that these functions appear in the menu only if already in a function. Moreover, the menu is only refreshed upon connection: As a consequence, it is necessary to reconnect after these choices have been modified.
Grid
Functions (field FNCCOD) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
It is used to define a function code of the software in order to be able to use it. The function codes, referenced in a dedicated table of the dictionary, can also be found via the tooltips on a user menu, or by looking at the value of the GFONCTION variable via the calculator, when connected to the function. |

For some functions, a supplementary argument can be specified. The table below draws up a list of the most frequent cases :
When the supplementary argument is not mandatory, it is selected or entered when starting the function, depending on the cases. |
