This function is used to purge the serial numbers issued for a given warehouse site.

This process can be carried out either directly, in simulation mode or in Batch mode.

Screen management

A selection window is used to choose the purge criteria.

Entry screen

This function is used to purge the serial numbers issued before the specified date (STOSER table), for the selected site. A control is carried out to check that the serial numbers involved in a transfer are not deleted.

A Warehouse site must be specified in the serial numbers to be purged selection window. By default, the site associated with the operator in their profile is pre-loaded.

Shipped before: The default date corresponds to the current date minus the value (in months) if the MARPURSER setup (serial number purge safety margin). In fact, this general setup is used to determine a reference date for the purge. If it is not defined or if its value is null, it will not be possible to purge the serial numbers issued for less than 12 months.

If the Simulation tick-box is ticked, it signifies that the process will not be carried out in direct mode.

Process log file: The process generates a log file for the purged serial numbers. It is possible to print it.

Batch task

This function can be run in batch mode. The standard task FUNSTPE is provided for that purpose.

Error messages

In addition to the generic error messages, the following messages can appear during the entry :

Site name: xxx non-existent record

This message appears when the specified site is not a declared site.

The setup does not allow a purge later than:../../..

This message appears if the date entered is later than the authorized date.
