Memos

This table is used to list the memos used in the product functions. This table is only for information purposes. It is used to link the extension memo codes with a functional context in order to avoid reusing it in another context.

It is thus necessary to enter this table when creating a new memo button in a window. The memo code to capitalize is the value entered in the EXT setup of the MEMO action.

For specific developments, the general rule to apply is: code starting with "x", "y" or "z".

Following codes are dedicated to the Supervisor only:

  • sel: memo on advanced selection of an object
  • glo: global memo on advanced selection of an object
  • sta: memo on statistics

This grid is used to know all the memo codes used.

Memo (field MEMO)

This code uniquely identifies a memo. It is a code based on 3 lowercase characters. Notably it will be used to identify a memo in a criterion window for an inquiry, by assigning the inquiry code to it.

Window (field WIN)

Window where the memo buttons are located : "Memo", "Recall" and "Delete memo". This function is purely for information purposes.

This button is used to copy the record definition from or to another folder.

From folder (field DOSORG)

Use this field to define the folder from which the record will be copied. The possible syntaxes are described in the Dedicated appendix.
All folders (field TOUDOS)

Use this option to copy the record to all the folders defined in the dictionary (ADOSSIER table of the current solution).
To folder (field DOSDES)

Use this field to define the folder to which the record will be copied. The possible syntaxes are described in the Dedicated appendix.
