BC division rules

This function is used to set up division rules for the barcode (BC). The apply to the fields that can be subject to a recheck. These are the fields defined at the level of the parameter ITMCTL - Product recheck (weighing) (Manufacturing chapter, WEI group).
 
These rules are used when displaying the barcode reading at the WO recheck screen level.

Note:

 In the recheck screen, the field displaying the barcode reading results is only present when the parameterCUTCAB - BC division in recheckis set to 'Yes'.

Two types of divisions are possible:

  • division according to the fields separator,
  • division according to a fixed length.

There can be, at most, one division rule by site.

BC division rules

BC type (field TYPCAB)

In this field, specify the format type of the BC.
The fields of the Separator and Fixed length blocks are available depending on the type of format selected and on the fields that can be subject to a recheck. These are the fields defined at the level of the parameter ITMCTL - Product recheck (weighing) (Manufacturing chapter, WEI group): Product code and/or Lot code and/or Sub-lot code.

  • If the BC format is of type Fieldseparator, specify:

    - the numbers of the fields contained in the BC,
    - the character used as a separator.
     
  • If the BC format is of type Fixed length, specify:
     
    - the length of fields,
    - the start position of each fields contained in the BC.
     
    The end position is calculated automatically.
Blank deletion (field SUPBLC)

Check this box to indicate that the blanks present in the recovered fields (product, lot) must be deleted.

Error messages

The only error messages are the generic ones.
