This function is used to define the distribution groups. These are analytical distribution keys of the entry type.

Distribution groups can be set up in the later distributions (column 'Receiving group').
They can be used in the Dimensional allocations process.

Distribution groups are created for a given dimension type. The navigation between each distribution group is performed by means of the Dimension type button.

Screen management

Entry screen

This screen is used to create distribution groups, and to associate with them the destination dimensions with their weight. The number of dimensions is limited to 100 workstations.

Header

Dimension type (field DIE)

This field is used to enter or select any dimension view set up in the database.
Code (field COD)

This field indicates the identifying code of a distribution group. This code is defined in the analytical dimension type. An identical code can be used to identify another distribution group in a different analytical dimension type.
field DESTRA

Common title of the current record.
Short description (field SHOTRA)

Title used in some screens or reports when there is not enough space to view the long title.

By default the short title, the long title or the column header of a data are recorded (on creation/update) in the connection language of the user.
You can add your translation in another language using the Translation function:

  • Click Translation from the Actions icon in the corresponding field.
  • In the Translation window, add a new language code with the translation in this language.

A user who logs on with this language will view the short description, long description or column header in their connection language if a translation exists. Otherwise, these descriptions will be available in the folder language.

SEEINFO The connection language must be defined as a default language for thefolder.

Grid Distribution

Dimensions (field CCE)

The analytical postings that belong to the allocation group are specified here.
Coefficient (field COE)

Multiplying coefficient that will be applied to the original cost values.
(for instance, increase a budget cost for the following year).

Specific Buttons

Dimension view

A dimension type can be chosen by means of the Dimension type button.
In the left list, the available distribution groups or analytical dimensions are displayed for the selected dimension type.

SEEINFO On opening, the function recovers by default the first dimension type (alphanumerical order) for which a distribution group or analytical dimension has been created.

Error messages

The only error messages are the generic ones.
