Tax control
Use this parameter to apply a VAT control when manually entering or modifying a journal entry.
The VAT control ensures consistency to the VAT data linked to the accounting document. The control only includes VAT tax codes, not other types of tax codes.
At the company level: When set to Yes, this parameter controls the threshold amount allowed for the variance between the calculated VAT and the amount entered in the TSDCNTVAT – Threshold parameter (CPT chapter, VAT group).
At the user level: When set to Yes, there is a warning/blocking error if the control is set up for the company entered in TYPCNTVAT – Control type parameter (CPT chapter, VAT group).
The control on document entry uses the same controls applied when running the CONTVAPCE - VAT on entries report.
You cannot enforce the VAT control when importing a journal entry, such as from another ERP, or when creating a journal entry from an upstream accounting document such as posting a customer invoice.
