WO component critical changes

This parameter identifies a Sage X3 user as approved to make key changes to components of a versioned product on a work order. 

'Yes' - This user is approved to make the following key changes to components of a versioned product (BOM) on a work order:

• Addition of a component using the Add unexpected material or Add sub-assembly (phantom) action (from the Actions icon);
• Excluding (or cancelling) a component, or reinstating a (cancelled) component using the Exclude line or Reactivate actions respectively (from the Actions icon);
• Changing the required quantity of a component (field Requirement qty);
• Changing a pick list component issue statement (field Pick list code);
• Assigning, or changing, a specific manufacturing operation for a component (field (Operation)).

'No' (default) - This user is not authorized to make key changes to components of a versioned BOM on a work order.

Level of localization/Global variable

This parameter is defined at the level User. It belongs to Chapter GPA (Manufacturing) and the Group ECC (Version management), The following parameters are also associated with this chapter and group :

• ECCBOMCOM (BOM component critical changes)
• ECCWOOPE (WO operation critical changes)

No global variable is associated with it.

• Parameter MFGREV - Revision management (chapter GPA, group WOM) can be set to track (audit) key changes to work orders for versioned products. With parameter MFGREV set to 'Yes', traceability of each key change is provided.
