WO component critical changes
This parameter identifies a Sage X3 user as approved to make key changes to components of a versioned product on a work order.
'Yes' - This user is approved to make the following key changes to components of a versioned product (BOM) on a work order:
Each of these changes are an integral part of the manufacturing process. As each of these changes must be tightly controlled they are considered to be 'critical changes' within the context of amendments to work orders.
- Addition of a component using the Add unexpected material or Add sub-assembly (phantom) action (from the Actions icon);
- Excluding (or cancelling) a component, or reinstating a (cancelled) component using the Exclude line or Reactivate actions respectively (from the Actions icon);
- Changing the required quantity of a component (field Requirement qty);
- Changing a pick list component issue statement (field Pick list code);
- Assigning, or changing, a specific manufacturing operation for a component (field (Operation)).
'No' (default) - This user is not authorized to make key changes to components of a versioned BOM on a work order.

This parameter is defined at the level User. It belongs to Chapter GPA (Manufacturing) and the Group ECC (Version management), The following parameters are also associated with this chapter and group :

- Parameter MFGREV - Revision management (chapter GPA, group WOM) can be set to track (audit) key changes to work orders for versioned products. With parameter MFGREV set to 'Yes', traceability of each key change is provided.
Parameter MFGREV (Revision management) - This parameter only applies to a work order for a versioned product.
- Activity code ECC must be activated to use the Version management functionality.
