Normal order type
Use this parameter to define the type of Normal order to use as the default value in the following cases:
- When creating a Normal order or an order allowing every category in the Order function.
- When creating a Normal order in the Quote function when the following conditions apply:
- No type of order is linked to the type of quote.
- The order category is Normal. This option is loaded by the general parameter QUOORDCAT - Order category (VEN chapter, ORD group).
- When importing a normal order when one of these conditions apply:
- The type of order is undefined in the import template, and the import template contains a Normal order
- The order type or category are defined in the import template but no value exists in the import file.
Level of localization/Global variable
This parameter is defined at the level User. It belongs to Chapter VEN (Sales) and the Group ORD (Order management rules), The following parameters are also associated with this chapter and group :

- DAYNBR (Calculate expected issue date)
- DIRORDCTL (Back-to-back if credit exceeded)
- EARMGT (Contracts - early / late mgmt)

Comments
This parameter is set at multiple levels. depending on the following order of priority:
1. User
2. Site. When creating an order, the site loaded by default on the order (site associated to the user’s Function profile) is used. If this parameter is not defined at the default site level, the parameter defined at the company level will be used.
3. Company. If this parameter is not defined at the company level, the parameter defined at the folder level will be applicable.
4. Folder
- If this parameter is defined at the folder level, the normal order type is applicable only if compatible in terms of legislation with the company for which the order is created. If this parameter is not defined, the first normal order type in alphabetical order compatible in terms of legislation is used by default.
- If this parameter is not defined at any level, the first normal order type in alphabetical order compatible in terms of legislation is used by default.
