An application code defines the service connected to the node web server; the software that manages the page called on this application.
Currently, only two applications are supported on the node web server:
- Syracuse collaboration is used to connect administration, collaboration, and personalized pages directly managed by the node server with a local storage on the mongodb database.
- Sage X3 is used to connect Sage X3 solutions.
The information must be entered as follows:
Description
User-friendly description of the application.
Type
Can be Syracuse or $$PRODUCT.
Application name
Can be Syracuse or $$PRODUCT.
Contract name
This field is used in the SData URL that is then used by the protocol. It can be a collaboration for the Syracuse type or ERP for the $$PRODUCT type.
Endpoints
An endpoint is assigned to a contract. This can be performed in this field with selection windows allowing multiple selections or in the endpoint page.
Default endpoint
This field indicates the endpoint that will be assigned to the contract in case other defined endpoints are not accessible.
Factory
This check box defines if the record is supplied as a factory record. When this happens, a factory code is also displayed and can be entered if you are a factory provider. This features allows to prevent some modifications on records supplied by defaut by Sage or by a vertical solution provider. More information about this feature is given in the following document.
