---|
The HRM site is the HRM portal to create in the administration platform in order to define the connections to the distant X3 web server of the Sage X3 solution. This reference also provides several services that allows you to control server availability and to facilitate menu item creation in the navigation pages.
Properties
The elements that must be entered are the following:
Name
Name of the HRM site as it appears when this entry is referenced in another page. The definition of this name is very critical. It must be exactly the same as in the X3 site declaration.
Development mode
This field defines if several menu items are created (one for each web server) or only a generic one.
Endpoint
Refers to Endpoints.
An HRM site can only be linked to one endpoint.
HRM Web Servers
Refers to HRM Web Servers.
An HRM site can only be linked to one endpoint.
Services
Install
Once the HRM site is created, you can automatically create menu items as well as block and module associated with the home
navigation page.
If the Development mode
property is checked, several menu items are created (one for each web server + one generic). Else, only one is created and associated with the home
navigation page to provide simple access to this HRM site for authorized Syracuse users.
Uninstall
Once the HRM site is created, and after its installation through the first described service, you can automatically remove all the menu items linked to it from the home
navigation page.
Ping
Once the HRM site is created, you can check its availability by testing the connection on each configured X3 web server:
- An information diagnose (blue) must be displayed if the connection is successful
- An error diagnose (red) must be displayed if the server is unreachable
