Variant matching

A different variant can exist for a given dashboard. These variants can be assigned to an endpoint, a role, a user, or a combination of these elements. When creating an personalization variant, the same assignment can be performed.

This explains why several variants can be relevant for a given context. When this occurs, the most relevant variant is displayed. Other variants can also be selected using the "view" field that is displayed on the top right corner of the page:

The most relevant variant is calculated by a ranking algorithm that is described in the Administration Reference Dashboards appendix.
