Stock count
Use this transaction to perform the following actions:
- Enter a count for a count line included in a stock count list.

Create a new count line and enter the count for this line. This line will be added to the stock count list. This can be useful if a product, a lot or a sublot for example is found physically in stock although it is not recorded in the theoretical stock.
In this transaction, you can perform the following operations:

Enter a zero count or leave the Counted field blank.

Perform a stock count in blind mode: See Functional prerequisites.
- Enter multiple counts per line for a stock count session set for multiple counts. In that case the transaction provides you with the count status (count 1, count 2, final count).

Enter or select the serial numbers to receive or to issue when the product is managed by global serial number.

Functional prerequisites

Stock count sessions (GESSNX)
Open: Stock > Counts > Stock count session
Check that a stock count session with the corresponding stock count lists exists.

Mobile Automation setup (FUNADCSEARCH)
Open: Setup > Stock > Mobile Automation setup
In the Stock count section, select the Stock qty. displayed checkbox if you want to display the stock quantity recorded in the data base while performing the stock count. Clear the checkbox if you want to perform the stock count in blind mode.
Web service prerequisites

Open: Administration > Web services > Classic SOAP pools configuration
Stop the web service pool.

Web services (GESAWE)
Open: Development > Script dictionary > Scripts > Web services
Perform the publication of the CWSVXACC and CWSACCNUM web services.

Start the web service pool.
How to perform a stock count
Open: Stock control > Stock count
To perform a stock count, you must enter information on different pages:
- The initial page is used to select the Stock count session and the Stock count session list.

Each following page displays the stock details of each already existing stock count line number. It is used to enter the number of counted products.

If a product is managed by global serial number, and the counted quantity is different from the stock quantity, you can select the range of serial numbers to receive or to issue.

If a product is found but is not yet recorded in stock, you can insert a new line and use it to enter the stock details of the product and the number of counted products.
Operating mode

In the initial page, check that the Site default value is correct. Scan, select or enter the Stock count session and the Stock count session list. The Enter stock details page automatically displays the stock details of the first count line.
- You can perform one of the following actions:

Tap Next to skip the line and display the Enter stock details page displaying the next stock count line.

Enter the number of counted products and tap Submit.

The product is not managed by global serial number or the product is managed by global serial number and the counted quantity is the same as the stock quantity: The entered count is updated in the database. The next stock count line displays.

The product is managed by global serial number and the counted quantity is different from the stock quantity: The Enter serial number page displays automatically.

Define the range of serial numbers to receive or to issue.

Tap Save to display to the next stock count line.

Repeat step 2 for each stock count line.

- Tap Add line from the More actions icon to create a new count line. The Enter stock details page automatically displays.
- Enter all the stock details as well as the counted number of products.
- Tap Create to create the count line and update the entered count in the database.
- Tap Cancel to go back to the last stock count line.

All the fields necessary to enter the details of the new count line are displayed.
Additional fields can be displayed or hidden depending on the product settings. These fields are described below.

Management by exception is applied. Only some of these fields display, depending on the Product settings (GESITM).

Lot and Sub-lot | X | These fields display only if the product is managed by lot. Scan, select or enter the lot/sublot number. Entry in this field is mandatory. |
Major/minor version | X |
These fields display only if the Major and Minor version management is defined for the product. If the entered lot and sublot numbers already exist, the major and minor version assigned to the lot automatically display. If the lot number is a new one, the current major and minor version automatically display. |
Serial number | X | This field displays only if the serial number management mode of the product is Received/Issued. Scan or enter the serial number. If the product serial management mode is Received/Issued, the unit, the location and the status display automatically. Entry in this field is mandatory and the number of Counted products must be 0 or 1. |
Unit | X | This field displays automatically when you scan or enter a serial number whose management mode is Received/Issued. If the product is not managed by serial number, this field defaults to the product stock unit, but you can select the packing unit from the drop-down list which also includes the conversion factor. |
Status |
Select the Status. The status displays automatically when you scan or enter a serial number whose management mode is Received/Issued. |
Create the new stock count line

Once you have created the new stock count line, you can still update any of the information entered. Tap Submit to update the changes in the database.

When you create a new stock count line, existing line numbers are renumbered. The highest line number is assigned to the new line. The renumbering occurs:

Immediately after creating the new stock count line.

When loading a Stock count session list.
