Important comments and limitations

Prereceipts

• With the prereceipt of orders or shipments, you can enter a prereceived quantity and update the MRP.
• Prereceipts do not manage the stock transit status or the transfer of ownership.
• Prereceipts do not generate the posting of costs. Posting will take place upon receipt.

Shipments

• A shipment can have several order lines from different sites but the sites must belong to the same company.
• You can close a shipment line, a container or a whole shipment if the goods have been lost or damaged. If you decide to reintegrate the involved quantity back into the ordered quantity, you can ship the goods again based on the ordered quantity.

Purchase orders

In containers and shipments:

• You can only select purchase orders.
• You cannot pick purchase open orders, or intercompany or intersite orders. These orders are not displayed in the selection panel.
