Depending on the active setup, this function is used at the level of a site to establish an estimation of the number of annual counts for the A, B, and C classes for products managed by cycle counting.
The products of class D are considered as products not subject to stock counts.
See the documentation on the Stock setups for further information.

After the validation of the chosen site and the specification of the counting, the following information is displayed on the screen:
The counting is done for each category depending on the cycle counting.
If there is a particular setup for a group of products, the system calculates the counting for this particular group.
Let N be the number of days between 2 stock counts, the number of counts being established in the following fashion:
For instance:
Number of days between two stock counts: 90 days.
Number of products in Class A: 100.
Number of counts per product: (365/100)+1 = 4.65 rounded to 4 counts per product
Number of yearly counts: 100 *4 = 400 counts per year for Class A products.
