The routing codes are used to define several routings for the same product, the reference of a routing being composed of the product reference and the routing code number.
It is possible to limit the use of the routing to a specific operator thanks to the access code, or to a specific site. If no site has been specified, the range will then be valid for all the sites.
A routing code can be put to one or several uses:
For each routing code, it is possible to combine up to three production BOM codes.

Multiple routings can be defined for a single product. Each routing code can be assigned specific management features. These include restriction of the routing to a specific site and to specific areas of functionality (for use in a manufacturing environment, for costing or for capacity planning). |

Several BOMs can be defined for the same product reference. The various BOM codes can be used to manage different product structures according to their use context such as:
