Mobile Automation setup
Use this function to set up some of the Mobile Automation (ADC) application features for handheld devices.
You can set up the following operations:
- Select the filters to be applied when running a search on stock lines for the LPN linking, LPN unlinking and Stock change transactions.
- Select the information used as selection criteria to be applied to products in the Purchase receipt transaction.
- Select the report used when printing stock labels on the fly and the report used for printing production labels. These reports are available for the following transactions:
- Stock label printing
- Production label printing
- Specify whether you want the quantity of stock saved in the database to be displayed in the Stock transaction when the operator counts the line of a stock count list in the field.
- Mobile Automation (ADC) for Distribution if you use the Sage Business Cloud,
- Mobile Automation (ADC) for Distribution if you use an on-premise version of Sage X3.

Tab Stock search
Select the information that you want to use as filters when running a search on stock lines. You can select up to 8 filters.
- To apply this setup to the LPN linking and LPN unlinking transactions, select the Container operation flow type.
- To apply this setup to the Stock Change transaction, select the Stock Change flow type.

Tab Labels
This setup is used in the Purchase receipt transaction where you can select a product by entering, selecting or scanning the product code. In this section, you can specify two additional selection criteria.
Criteria 1 (field CRIT1) |
This setup is used in the Purchase receipt transaction where you can select a product by entering, selecting or scanning the product code. You can also select the product using 2 other pieces of information that you choose as selection criteria. For example, this could be the Supplier product code or the Supplier UPC code. In the Purchase receipt transaction, this information is dynamically displayed along with the product code so that you can identify this product very accurately.
These 2 criteria are used only for purchase order receipts. They are not taken into account for direct receipts.

Tab Labels
This setup is used in the Stock label printing and Production label printing transactions.Select the reports that match the format of the stock labels and production labels that you want to print.
Stock labels (field STOLAB) |
Select the report that matches the format of the stock labels that you want to print using the Stock label printing transaction. The selection list displays the Internal documents reports in the Stock group. You can use the preset report: ETIQONFLYSTK - Stock labels on demand. |
Manufacturing labels (field PROLAB) |
Select the report that matches the format of the production labels that you want to print using the Production label printing transaction. The selection list displays the reports from the Production documents category in the Production group. You can use the preset report: ETIQONFLYPROD - Prod. labels on demand. |
Always label destination (field ALWLABDES) |
The destination printer defined for the user in the Mobile Automation (ADC) application is displayed by default in the label printing transactions. Select this checkbox if this is the only printer that should be used and to prevent users from selecting another printer from the label printing transactions. |
Tab Stock count
This setup is used in the Stock transactions. Select the Stock qty. displayed checkbox to display the stock quantity saved in the database to the operator when they perform the count operation.
