Operation Date shift
This function is used to shift in time the production operation selection.
Only "waiting" operations, scheduled and running on a work centre of the type machine or labor are processed.
If a shift is entered, it is applied to the start date for the operation concerned, the new start date loads the forced start date for the operation.
Each Works Order (WO) concerned by the process is de-scheduled then re-scheduled.
Pre-requisites
Refer to documentation Implementation
Screen management
This function is carried out in two steps:
Selection if the WOs to be processed
Result of the process
Entry screen
Selection entry
Here this is the entry of a group of criteria that are used to select the operations to be moved:
The production site : it is loaded by default with the production site associated with the operator,
It is possible to choose the status of the WOs to be processed : planned or firm,
The selection of the start/end range.
The following must be entered :
either a shift to be applied in calendar days: the movement can be positive or negative.
or a new start date.
It is possible to specify if the operation dates must be forced by maintaining the initial scheduling of the previous and next operations.
The use of the button is used to start the process.
Results of the process
A report on the processing appears when the date shift is complete, it contains the operations that have been changed and their new start and end dates.
A message warns the user if a selected order could not be processed.
Selection criteria
Production site (field MFGFCY) |
The production site associated with the user is proposed by default. It can be modified by another site authorized for the operator, depending on its authorizations. |
Selection formula (field FORMULE) |
Filters
Planned work orders (field WOPFLG) |
Select this check box if planned work orders are to be processed. If planned work orders are to be excluded from the run, leave this check box clear. |
Firm work orders (field WOFFLG) |
Select this check box if firm work orders are to be processed. If firm work orders are to be excluded from the run, leave this check box clear. |
Parameters

field PSPUOT |
Change to : (field XDATE) |
Start - end range
Work order no. (field MFGNUMDEB) |
This field displays the work order number (unique ID). |
field MFGNUMFIN |
Routing code (field ROUALTDEB) |
Multiple routings can be defined for a single product. Each routing code can be assigned specific management features. These include restriction of the routing to a specific site and to specific areas of functionality (for use in a manufacturing environment, for costing or for capacity planning). |
field ROUALTFIN |
Routing (field ROUNUMDEB) |
This routing is used in work order management. |
field ROUNUMFIN |
Work center (field WSTDEB) |
The planned work center is attached to a work center group. It corresponds to a production resource on which a routing operation is to be carried out. |
field WSTFIN |
Operation (field OPENUMDEB) |
This field displays the sequence number of this operation. The operations in a routing used for manufacturing a product are assigned operation numbers. Each operation number corresponds to a task carried out on a given resource, with given times. |
field OPENUMFIN |
Start date (field STRDATDEB) |
This field identifies the planned start date of the Work Order. |
field STRDATFIN |
Block number 5
Save positions of the last operations (field KPREC) |
If the processing carries out a downstream shift of operations, |
Save positions of the next operations (field KSUIV) |
If the processing carries out an upstream shift of operations, |

Batch task
This function can be run in batch mode. The standard task FUNMAUTO is provided for that purpose.
