Routing Codes
It is possible to limit the use of the routing to a specific operator thanks to the access code, or to a specific site. If no site has been specified, the range will then be valid for all the sites.
A routing code can be put to one or several uses:
- Production
- Cost calculation
- RCCP
For each routing code, it is possible to combine up to three production BOM codes.

Block number 1
Routing code (field ROUALT) |
Multiple routings can be defined for a single product. Each routing code can be assigned specific management features. These include restriction of the routing to a specific site and to specific areas of functionality (for use in a manufacturing environment, for costing or for capacity planning). |
Description (field TRODESAXX) |
Short description (field TROSHOAXX) |
Confidentiality
Access code (field ACSCOD) |
This access code is used to restrict access to data by user or group of users. |
Site (field FCY) |
The production site associated with the user is proposed by default. It can be modified by another site authorized for the operator, depending on its authorizations. |
Use
Manufacturing (field MFGUSE) |
When it is activated, this checkbox is used to specify that the alternative can be used in the management of Work Orders (production) |
Costs (field CSTUSE) |
When it is activated, this checkbox is used to specify that the alternative can be used in the calculations of the standard costs (production) |
RCCP (field RCCUSE) |
RCCP (Yes/No) |
Associated BOMs
BOM code 1 (field BOMALT1) |
Several BOMs can be defined for a single product reference. The various BOM codes can be used to manage different product structures according to their use context such as:
This field can be left empty (value = 0) to enable manual entry of the components. In this case, only the component is loaded. |
BOM code 2 (field BOMALT2) |
BOM code 3 (field BOMALT3) |
Reports
By default, the following reports are associated with this function :
TABROUALT : Routing code listing
This can be changed using a different setup.
Error messages
In addition to the generic error messages, the following messages can appear during the entry :
X : Commercial BOM code!
It is only possible to combine production BOM codes to a routing code.
At least one use must be defined for this code
This message appears when no use box has been checked.
At least one BOM must be associated with this routing code.
This message appears when no BOM has been entered.
