Employee activity
This function allows a manager or supervisor to review active or historical data from Shop floor transaction records (SFTTXN). This data includes records generated via the Shop floor tracking (SFT) workbench and those added manually for individuals or Summary teams.
Primary actions include:
- Enter time card data manually from the back office.
- Review and correct Shop floor tracking activities.
- Create, modify, and delete Shop floor transaction records.
- View historical records (SFTTXNH) that have been posted using the Labor validation function (FUNSFTVAL)
Search Criteria
Because the number of records generated in a day or during a shift can be significant, you can filter search results using criteria such as Employee ID, Team, Site, Shift date, Work order, Work center, and Operation.
You can also use the check boxes to refine results:
Activity: Clock in/out, Indirect, Break, Setup, and Run
Options: Open, Closed, Errors, and History
See the help for each field for more information.
Grid
The grid serves two main purposes:
- It displays all records that match your search criteria.
- It allows you to perform all maintenance activities (create, modify, delete) associated with labor entry or to correct employee clocking entries.
You can perform the following maintenance activities on records that have not been posted:
Create – Add a new line to the bottom of the grid to create a new record.
Delete – From the Action menu at the beginning of each line, select Delete.
Modify – Varies by line and subject to controls and validations required to maintain referential integrity.
You cannot perform maintenance activities on records that have been posted. That is, historical records from the SFTTXNH table.
