Text translation
Use this function, for a given language (different from the entry language of translatable elements), in order to translate texts by differentiation.
The data that can be translated are the following:
- the price list columns,
- the invoicing elements,
- the product descriptions,
- the units,
- the packaging,
- the delivery methods,
- the payment conditions,
- the customer/supplier/product statistical groups,
- the miscellaneous tables.
This function is used for printing reports.Most reports can be printed in the language of the Business Partner to which they are addressed.
Example:
On an order form addressed to an American customer, the product descriptions and the charges and discounts can be displayed in American English (even if the document is printed from a workstation logged in French).

Screen management
The translation is made on a single screen.
The selection criteria are used to refine the selection of texts to translate.
This option is used to translate by differentiation of the text file ATEXTRA.

Error messages
In addition to the generic error messages, the following messages can appear during the entry :
Language XXX: Incorrect value
The selected language cannot be translated.
Language XXX: Record does not exist
The code entered does not exist in the table. You need to use the Selection function to search for an existing code; or the Jump to function to directly access the program dedicated to the codes.
