Account classes
Use this function to define the management rules linked to account categories for a given legislation, in other words:

The account class information is associated with an account or a group of accounts, regardless of whether they are of general or analytical nature or both.

For the French legislation, this setup can contain classes for social, analytical, IAS and reporting accounts.
If a link to X3 accounting has been defined in Sage X3 HR & Payroll (Folders (GESADS), Links tab), the function cannot be accessed from Sage X3 HR & Payroll. If you try to access the function, the following warning message is displayed: "This object is managed in X3". From Sage X3 HR & Payroll, you can select the values coming from the X3 folder: analytical dimension, account, etc.
If there is no active link to the X3 accounting, the function can be accessed in Sage X3 HR & Payroll and the data is stored in the Sage X3 HR & Payroll folder.
