Extraction parameters
This function is used to define the origin of the information to be transmitted to the 1099 file depending on the company processed.
The structure of the 1099 file is as follows:
- Issuer (1,1): it can be a company, a site, an accounting firm etc.
- Issuer Contact (1,n)
- Company (1,n): it is the company being processed
- Beneficiary of the fees (0,n): is is the service provider
- Remuneration (1,n): these are the fees
- Declaration site (1,n): these are the sites
- Total sent (1,1)
Opposite each element, some information is necessary. These are in particular:
- Specific parameters (Declaration nature, etc.)
- Information concerning the various sites with:
- Their role (Declaring site, headquarters site, addressee of the CRE (specific French report))
- Their identification (address, Site Registration number)
- The contacts.
This information is used, depending on the execution context of the file generation (mainly the issuer site and the list of companies to be processed) to link the various relevant tables. The various data of the file are loaded via the interpretation function.
Nota Bene: the checks carried out on the 1099 file by the French Administration are extensive. Compliance with the standard is strict, and Sage X3 does not carry out all the checks. There are Internet sites that can be used to download checking tools, that should be implemented before sending the file to the Administration.

The information linked to the following basis data shall be particularly addressed:
- Sites: Loading of the site registration numbers, and links to the various contacts (addressee of the CRO, Contacts with the Administration, complete address,
- Contacts: the e-mail address is especially useful.
- Service provider:
- Difference between a physical person and a moral person. In the first case, both first name and last name are necessary, in the second case, the site registration number is mandatory. Job title,
- Complete address,
- Indicators qualifying the terms to take into account the expenses, the types of incomes in kind, etc.

Screen management
Entry screen
This screen is used to enter the information necessary for the 1099 file, organized in four blocks:
- The site to which the CRE report should be sent, identification, site registration number, address and contact,
- The "declaring" site, identification, site registration number, address and contact,
- The "headquarters" site, identification, site registration number, address and contact,
- The miscellaneous parameters.
Company
Company (field CPY) |
This is the code of the assignment company of the entity. |
Report recipient
Ship-to site (field DENFCY) |
This code is used to identify the site concerned. It is unique for each site. |
Report sending method (field DENCODCOM) |
Type of medium used by the administration to send the report (Exploitation report) to the recipient. |
Ship-to address (field DENADD) |
This code is used to identify the various addresses associated with the managed record (user, company, site, business partner of any description, etc.).
You cannot modify or delete an address code when it is used at the level of a Bank ID number or for a contact. |
Recipient contact (field DENCNT) |
Code that identifies the contact of the site to whom the report is sent. This contact must be associated with the destination site. |
Last name (field DENCNTNAM) |
Headquarters site
Headquarters site (field MAIFCY) |
This code is used to identify the site concerned. It is unique for each site. |
Site tax ID no. (field MAICRN) |
Company registration number. The format of this number depends on the country code. This is the site registration number of the headquarters' site. |
Headquarters site address (field MAIFCYADD) |
This code is used to identify the various addresses associated with the managed record (user, company, site, business partner of any description, etc.).
You cannot modify or delete an address code when it is used at the level of a Bank ID number or for a contact. |
Headquarters contact (field MAIFCYCNT) |
Code that identifies the contact of the headquarters' site. This contact must be associated with the headquarters' site. |
Last name (field MAICNTNAM) |
Reporting site
Site (field DCLFCY) |
This code is used to identify the site concerned. It is unique for each site. |
Site registration number (field DCLCRN) |
Company registration number. The format of this number depends on the country code. This is the site registration number of the site declaring the 1099 file. |
Declaring site address (field DCLFCYADD) |
This code is used to identify the various addresses associated with the managed record (user, company, site, business partner of any description, etc.).
You cannot modify or delete an address code when it is used at the level of a Bank ID number or for a contact. |
Declarant contact (field DCLFCYCNT) |
Code that identifies the contact of the reporting site. This contact must be associated with the reporting site. |
