This function is used to manage all the seasonality plans managed by the company.

The role of a seasonality plan is to indicate which periods are active and which are inactive for a civil year divided into 12 months.

  • No depreciation is calculated for the months flagged as inactive.
  • An asset can be attached to one seasonality plan only.

Screen management

This screen is used to:

  • specify the characteristics of identification of the plan (in the header),
     
  • select the active months and, if the company is subject to the Polish legislation, indicate the seasonality type (in the Main tab).

Header

Company (field CPY)

This is the identification code of the company for which the seasonality plan is defined. This information is mandatory.

Note Seasonality plans can only be defined for companies that are subject to the Polish or Russian legislation.
Reference (field PSEPLN)

The seasonality plan reference is mandatory. Only one reference can be entered for a given company.

Description (field DES1)

This field contains the main description of the seasonality plan.

This column is used to select the months that are considered active.

  • At least one month must be active.
  • At least one month must be inactive.

Modifying a seasonality plan is prohibited if the following conditions are met:

  • At least one asset uses the seasonality plan.
  • At least one active period has been closed.

Deleting a seasonality plan is not authorized when at least one asset is linked to it.

Trend profile

Seasonality type (field SESTYP)

This field is displayed only if the company is subject to the POL (Polish) legislation.
It is used to specify the type of seasonality:

  • Increasing: The FY depreciation charge is distributed over the active months.
  • Decreasing: The FY depreciation charge corresponds to the total of charges of each active month.

Other conditions

Copy

Copying a seasonality plan is authorized.

Modification

Modifying a seasonality plan is prohibited if the two following conditions are met:

  • the plan is used by an asset,
  • at least one active period has been subject to a closing.

Deletion

Modifying a seasonality plan is prohibited if it is used by at least one asset.

Error messages

The only error messages are the generic ones.
