Re-open fiscal year

This utility is used to re-open a closed fiscal year, for a company and to delete the corresponding forward postings in accounting that were generated during the closure.

Screen management

Entry screen

Specify the company for which the fiscal year must be re-opened.
Specify if you re-open the analytical closing or the general and analytical closing.

The process is thus used to:

  • delete the closure journal entries;
  • delete the opening journal entries;
  • delete the result journal entry;
  • re-open the status of the fiscal year in order to pass this from not open to open.
