Accounting inquiry total

Use this activity code to display a Balances section instead of having a Balance action in the accounting inquiry screens (Accounts, Analytical accounts, Dimensions) presenting the balances and totals of the selection.

This activity code (CNT) and the CNU - Accounting inquiry total activity code are mutually exclusive.

If the CNT activity code is active, the CNU activity code is inactive. In this case, the Balances section is displayed in the accounting inquiry screens. It displays the balances and totals of the selection. The Balance action is not available.
Conversely, if the CNU activity code is active, the CNT activity code is inactive. In this case, the Balances section is not displayed but the Balance action is available. You can click on this action to display the balances and totals of the inquiry on demand.

Recommended values

The information is best displayed when balances and totals are presented at the section level. However, if you are managing a large volume data, you can activate the CNU activity code to enhance performances: your data will only be displayed in the search results on request and not automatically.
Limit: The fields in the Total of selection criteria block are not calculated in this context.
