This parameter applies to stock movement overheads.

It is an addition to the setup applied to the tab Cost of the record Product-Site:

To each product, an Overhead code can be assigned. An overhead code is defined by the calculation method (cumulated or cascade), an application method (on stock receipt, on stock issue) and a list of overhead natures: associated with each overhead nature is a fixed rate to be applied or a calculation formula on the basis of which the overhead value to be posted to this nature for the code concerned will be calculated.

It is possible for a single nature to have up to 4 formulas or fixed rates in 4 columns (column A, column B, column C, Column D).

This general parameter makes it possible to choose the column that will be used for the overheads calculation of stock movements.

Level of localization/Global variable

This parameter is defined at the level Site. It belongs to Chapter STO (Inventory) and the Group VAL (Valuation), The following parameters are also associated with this chapter and group :

  • ABSLIM (Limit of val var absorption)
  • MAXABSCOD (Valuation variance absorption )
  • MAXABSPER (% maximum of over-absorption)

The global variable GOVECOLSTK is associated with it.
