In Sage X3, you can set up automatic alerts to be sent after a triggering event set up in the Workflow rules function (GESAWA).

The TYPMES - E-mailing type parameter (SUP chapter, WRK group) is used to specify if the sending of messages is done from the server.

For sending messages, an executable file named meladx, provided with Sage X3, is used.

In the SERMES parameter, define the name of the mail server that is transmitted to that executable file.
