When you make changes to an employee contract record, these changes can be saved and tracked in the History function (the History function, or History screen, is available from the Actions panel of the Employment contracts function).

If the parameter value HISCTRQST - History question is set to Yes, the following question displays when you save the modified contract record: Do you want to record the changes in the History screen for contract XXX?
To answer, click Yes or No.

If the parameter value HISCTRQST - History question is set to No, this question does not display and the value defined in the HISCTRDEF - History default answer parameter is the one used as the default value to define if the changes made to the contract record must be saved in the History screen:

  • If you want the changes made to the contract to be recorded automatically in the History screen, set the HISCTRDEF - History default answer parameter value to Yes.
  • If you do not want the changes made to the contract to be recorded automatically in the History screen, set the HISCTRDEF - History default answer parameter value to No.

The default value for these two parameters is No.
