This function is used to perform targetted mass modifications on a selection of work centers. The operation takes place in two steps:
In a first screen, the user specifies for a given site all the work centers that they wish to modify and select:

The production site associated with the user is proposed by default. It can be modified by another site authorized for the operator, depending on its authorizations. |

When the various modifications have been entered, activating the OK button leads to a second screen that summarizes in a grid all the work centers concerned by the modifications to be made, along with the requested modifications.
This grid can still be modified manually work center by work center.
When a modification of the efficiency has been requested, it is also possible to request the update of this parameter at the level of the standard operation library and at the level of those routing operations using the work centers from the selection.
Finally, if the weekly structures or the number of work center resources have been modified, it is possible to launch from this work center modification processing the load recalculation processing (re-scheduling of the WOs impacted by the modifications) on the work centers of the selection. Yet, the processing times during the execution of these two consecutive processings should be especially considered.

The work center group is a physical or fictitious entity grouping several work centers of machine, labor or sub-contracting type. |
The type of a work center can be either machine, labor or sub-contracting. |
The work center is attached to a work center group. It corresponds to a production resource on which a routing operation is carried out. This is an entity for which it is requested to plan loads and track production times. Each work center is associated with an attachment site. |

Parameters
Specify either thestock location or a formula used to calculate this location for each work center. |
The costing dimension is used to link the work centers to the accounting: it contains information on hourly rates that are necessary for the cost calculations, and also the an
alytical dimensions. |
Specify either the weekly structure to assign to all the work centers of the selection, or a formula used to calculate this structure for each work center. |
A weekly structure is a set of 7 values, each specifying the hourly capacity of a day in the week.
Calendars are used for calculating the capacity of a work center. |
This field is used to enter:
The number of work centers makes it possible to manage the number of resources for identical resources in order to carry out an operation. For instance, a labor work center may comprise 3 people. This is indicated by entering 3 in the number of resources. |
Enter, select or build an Sage X3 filter calculation expression using the formula editor.
Specify either a percentage to assign to all the selection work centers, or a formula to calculate this percentage for each work center. |
This percentage defines the threshold being applied to automatically close the materials during production tracking. For instance, if the value is 95% and the material requirement is 200 UN, the system will suggest to close the material if the consumed quantity is greater than or equal to 190 UN. |
Enter, select or build an Sage X3 filter calculation expression using the formula editor.
Specify either the workshoplocation to assign to all the work centers of the selection, or a formula used to calculate this location. |
This field specifies the default location in the entry of stock movements: receipts, issues, location changes etc., based on the setup of these transactions. The location is linked to the work center. This work center is used when a material is attached to an operation and its allocation rule filters on a local location.
Specify either the qualification level to assign to all the selected work centers, either a formula used to calculate for each work center this qualification level. |
The qualification level, entered on 10 alphanumeric characters, is given for information purposes. It is not managed in the use of the different functions. |
When checked, this box is used to indicate the efficiency to apply. |
The efficiency is a way to measure compliance to the preset standards. It can be calculated over a given period by work center: Standard hours calculated for a given production divided by the actual hours worked. Two efficiency rates are managed depending on:
If both coefficients are entered, they add up. The WSTEFFINH - Work center efficiency history general parameter (GPA chapter, MIS group) is used to specify whether the efficiency defined at work center level should be used on the routing operation.

Enter, select or build an Sage X3 filter calculation expression using the formula editor.
Specify either a loss percentage to assign to all the selected work centers or a formula used to calculate this percentage for each work center. |
This percentage is used to balance the quantities on the production operations based on the released quantity. It is possible to introduce a shrinkage percentage on the work center, which is used to weight the planned runtimes for an operation using this work center by a loss or gain on the quantity produced for the work center. |
Enter, select or build an Sage X3 filter calculation expression using the formula editor.
When checked, this box is used to define the display level. |
The display level (defined by default on the work center) is used to filter the initial Gantt display. Within the scheduling function, it is possible to filter the work centers to be displayed as a function of this level. |

Optimization
Specify the new weekly structure to be assigned to the selection work centers as a whole. |
A constraint work center is considered by the optimization function as a work center with finite capacity whilst a non constraint work center has infinite capacity. The box set to "yes" indicates that the work center is associated with constraints in terms of finite capacity (machine or labor). |
Specify the new weekly structure to be assigned to the selection work centers as a whole. |
Rough Cut Capacity Planning in the translation of the French abbreviation "PGC" (for "Planification Globale des Capacités"). This flag characterizes the work centers. If the RCCP flag for the work center is set to "YES", the operation is identified as being critical during production. This flagging is particularly significant when it comes to generating macro-routings. |
Specify the new weekly structure to be assigned to the selection work centers as a whole. |
If the grouping flag has the value "yes", it indicates that the work center is concerned by the grouping procedure of the X3 optimization. The purpose here is to specify whether the work center can be subject to an operation grouping in the Optimization/Scheduling function, and if it is Yes on what horizon (horizon starting on the start date specified on launching the scheduling function). A work center subject to a grouping cannot be managed as a multiple resource work center. A routing operation using such a work center should specify which criterion leads to the grouping of the operations concerned. |
Specify the new weekly structure to be assigned to the selection work centers as a whole. |
Horizon on which the grouping constraint will be taken into account by the scheduling. |
