Allocations
Use this inquiry to display stock allocations to work orders. You can also display stock allocations to work orders that are in shortage.

Screen management
This inquiry is customized to the needs of your organization and your processes. The screen code you select determines how information is displayed on the Allocations tab.
Home
Use this section to enter the storage site and range filters, then select Search.
Selection
Storage site (field STOFCY) |
Type in or select the product storage site. The default site displayed is associated with your user record but you can edit it. |
Start - end range
Entry type (field VCRTYP) |
The transaction type that stock shortages could affect. For Manufacturing, this is set to Work order. |
From product (field ITMREFSTR) |
Filter for results within a range of product codes. For a single product, enter the same product code in the From/start product and To/end product fields. |
To product (field ITMREFEND) |
From entry no. (field VCRNUMSTR) |
Filter for results within a range of document numbers. For a single document, enter the same document number in the From/start entry no. and To/end entry no. fields. |
To entry no. (field VCRNUMEND) |
Requirement start date (field STRDATSTR) |
Filter for results within a range of requirement dates. For a single requirement date, enter the same date in the Requirement start date and Requirement end date fields.
The requirement date used to filter the allocation display is contained in the WIP table (ORDERS). In the particular case of the delivery requests, the Requirement start date corresponds to the date the delivery request was created and the Requirement end date corresponds to the planned shipment date. If the entered shipment date is earlier than the creation date of the line, the Requirement end date is assigned to the creation date. The Requirement date displayed in the Allocations table corresponds to the actual shipment date. For example: Delivery request created on May 19 with a shipment date set to May 13. |

Tab Allocations
This table displays a line for each allocated stock line if it is a detailed allocation or a line for each allocated product if it is a global allocation.

Allocation type (field ALLTYP) |
Global: A global allocation refers to a product-site (reserved stock). Detailed: A detailed allocation refers to a product line (allocated stock). Shortages/global: A global allocation shortage. Shortages/detailed: A detailed allocation shortage. |
STK (field STU) |
The unit in which the product is stored. |
Active quantity (field ALLQTY) |
The quantity allocated to the work order or work order line. |
Physical quantity (field QTYSTU) |
The available quantity expressed in the product stock unit. |
Lot (field LOT) |
The lot allocated to the work order line. |
Sublot (field SLO) |
The sublot allocated to the work order line. |
Major version (field ECCVALMAJ) |
Indicates which major version of the product applies. Major versions might be used where there have been increased or significant changes to the original or previous version, that is the "form, fit, or function" has changed. |
Minor version (field ECCVALMIN) |
Indicates which minor version of the product applies. Minor versions might be used where there have been minor features or changes in functionality, or significant fixes applied to a specific major version. |
Serial number (field SERNUM) |
The serial number allocated to the work order line. |
Status (field STA) |
The status (A, Q, R) of the stock allocated to the work order line. |
Location (field LOC) |
The storage location of the stock allocated to the work order line. |
Warehouse (field WRH) |
The storage warehouse of the stock allocated to the work order line. |
Requirement date (field STRDAT) |
The date the product is needed for the work order or work order line.

Potency % (field DEFPOT) |
The average potency in percentage for the allocated product. It is used as a default value when receiving stock before quality control measures the actual potency. |
Original site (field ORIFCY) |
The original order site. |
Entry type (field VCRTYP) |
The transaction type with the stock shortage. For Manufacturing, this is set to Work order. |
Entry (field VCRNUM) |
The source document or order line. |
Journal line (field VCRLIN) |
Identifies the associated line on the source document or order. |
Priority (field PIO) |
The delivery priority for the source document or order: Normal, Urgent, Very urgent. |
Source product (field ITMREFORI) |
The original product code. This product code describes what is referred to as a "Bill of material", a BOM. A BOM contains structured information for making and costing a product. It defines the components that make up a product, and given this, the cost of the product. |
BP (field BPRNUM) |
The code of the business partner (customer/supplier) associated with the order. |
Work order |
Select Work order from the Actions icon to view the work order details. |
Specific actions
Limitations
In this inquiry, the Next button is not available. The maximum number of lines displayed which you can export to Excel corresponds to the number of lines set up on the inquiry screen. If the expected number of lines is not displayed, change it on the Inquiry screen.
Error messages
The only error messages are the generic ones.
