Header
Use the header information to specify the main selection criteria.
Selection
Storage site (field STOFCY) |
You must specify which storage site you wish to use for the allocations inquiry. |
Start - end range
Entry type (field VCRTYP) |
The type of document (sales order, delivery, work order) is preloaded according to the module from which the inquiry is called (Sales or Manufacturing). It is not editable. It is used to filter the allocations to inquire by type of allocated document. |
From product (field ITMREFSTR) |
Entering these fields is not mandatory. They are used to limit the display of allocations to a product or a range of products. |
To product (field ITMREFEND) |
Entering these fields is not mandatory. They are used to limit the display of allocations to a product or a range of products. |
From entry no. (field VCRNUMSTR) |
Entering these fields is not mandatory. Use them to limit the display of allocations to one document or a range of documents. |
To entry no. (field VCRNUMEND) |
Requirement start date (field STRDATSTR) |
Entering these fields is not mandatory. They are used to limit the display of allocations to those whose requirement date falls in a given period. Important note about filtering allocations by requirement date: The requirement date used to filter the allocation display is contained in the WIP table (ORDERS). In the particular case of the delivery requests, the From requirement end date corresponds to the date of creation of the delivery request and the To requirement end date corresponds to the shipment date planned. If the entered shipment date is inferior to the creation date of the line, the requirement end date is then assigned to the creation date as it cannot be inferior. For example : Delivery request created on 19/05/2015 with a shipment date set to 13/05/2015 |
Requirement end date (field STRDATEND) |
Tab Allocations
The columns and the number of lines displayed in this table depend on the setup of the chosen screen code.
The system displays the lines by allocated stock line if it is a detailed allocation or by allocated product if it is a global allocation.
For each line, the following information is displayed:
- The allocated product
- The allocation type: Global or Detailed. In case of a shortage, the following message is displayed:
- Global shortage if the shortage is due to a global allocation
- Detail shortage if the shortage is due to a detailed allocation.
- The entry type and the entry: the entry on which the allocation is performed
- The allocated quantity
- The lot, sub-lot and serial number according to the management method for the product on a line with a detailed allocation
- The allocated stock status for a detailed allocation
- The allocated stock location (and if relevant, the warehouse), for a detailed allocation
Grid Allocations

You can modify this quantity if the order unit is a product packing unit, whose coefficient can be modified (see Packing unit table on the Units section of the Product record) but cannot be used with the other units (product purchase unit, supplier purchase unit, supplier packing unit, stock unit). Criteria |
Click this action to access the additional selection criteria with respect to the criteria entered in the inquiry header. You can specify criteria ranges:
Global allocations and Detailed allocations: You can filter the allocations to inquire by type. Global shortages and Detail shortages: You can limit the display of the allocations with shortages by type of allocation (global or detailed). Screen code: the inquiries can usually be set up (for more detail, see the Inquiry screens documentation). You can access customized inquiry screens via the screen code. You can use this customization, for instance, to choose what information to display and in what order it is presented in the table. Classification: by default the inquiry is sorted by product code. You can specify whether to display the sorted allocations by requirement date. You can save Memo codes which gather one or several sets of criteria. You can later access them again using Call Memo or delete them using Delete Memo. |
Limitations
In this inquiry, the Next button is unavailable. The maximum number of lines displayed which you can export to Excel corresponds to the number of lines set up on the inquiry screen. If the expected number of lines is not displayed, change it on the Inquiry screen.
