Transport

Use this function to track the transport of shipped goods.
You can view all the transports that match your selection criteria. The criteria include shipments, containers, departure and arrival places, the shipment site, the departure date, etc.

Screen management

Enter your selection criteria.

Selections

From transport (field TRNNUMSTR)

Enter the transport number for the selection start range.
To transport (field TRNNUMEND)

Enter the transport number for the selection end range.
From shipment (field SHIPNUMSTR)

Enter the shipment number for the selection start range.
To shipment (field SHIPNUMEND)

Enter the shipment number for the selection end range.
Shipment site (field FCY)

Select the shipment site.
From container (field CTRNUMSTR)

Enter the container number for the selection start range.
To container (field CTRNUMEND)

Enter the container number for the selection end range.
Departure start date (field DATSTR)

Enter the departure date for the selection start range.
Departure end date (field DATEND)

Enter the departure date for the selection end range.
Shipment detail (field SHIPFLG)

Select this check box to display the list of shipments included in each transport.

Note:

If this check box is selected, the transports with no shipment are not displayed.
Container detail (field CTRFLG)

Select this check box to display the list of containers included in each shipment.
It can only be accessed if you requested a detailed recovery of the transports by shipment (check box Shipment detail selected).

Note:

If this check box is selected, the transports/shipments with no container are not displayed.

Select this check box to select the transports at status Created.
field INPFLG

Select this check box to select the transports at status in process.
field ARRFLG

Select this check box to select the transports at status Arrived.
Transport ID (field TRNUID)
Carrier (field BPTNUM)

Enter the identification code of the carrier if you wish to perform a selection based on this information.

BP code (field BPRNUM)

Enter the identification code of the business partner if you wish to perform a selection based on this information.

Departure place (field DPETPC)

Enter the transport departure place if you wish to perform a selection based on this information.

Arrival place (field ARVTPC)

Enter the transport arrival place if you wish to perform a selection based on this information.

The displayed columns depend on the setup of the inquiry screen.

The table content is based on the entered selection criteria:
  • If you do not require the shipment detail: one line is displayed per transport.
  • If you require the shipment detail: for each transport, there are as many lines displayed as there are shipments in the transport.
  • If you require the container detail: for each transport, there are as many lines displayed as there are containers in each shipment.

Specific actions

Criteria

Click this action to:

  • enter extra selection criteria in addition to the header criteria, such as selection on the planned arrival date,
  • pick the classification criteria for the display of transports. By default, transports are sorted by transport number but you can sort them by date: departure date or planned arrival date based on the selection date criteria chosen,
  • save the selection criteria under a memo code so that they can be retrieved later. The STD memo code is specific since it is the one that is systematically applied upon entering the inquiry.

Error messages

The only error messages are the generic ones.
