Product axis report

Use this function to analyze data generated by the Production analysis function from closed work orders. Efficiency and productivity data is provided in report format for 1 or a range of work orders tracked and closed at a single production site.

You can optionally generate new production output data from this function for closed work orders at a specific production site.

Note:

 Previous analysis results are replaced with new analysis data if the analysis period is duplicated.

Screen management

The Product axis report function contains a single screen into which you enter your selection criteria.

Entry screen

Enter the report criteria then select OK. The Enter report parameters screen displays. You can edit this screen as needed.

Selection criteria

Production site (field MFGFCY)

Type in or select the work order production site.
Analysis end date (field MSTDAT)

Type in or select the period end date of the Production analysis report to analyze. The default end date is the last date of the period before the current period.

Note:

 The report will be blank if a Production analysis has not been processed for the entered end date.

Analysis selection

Analysis to edit (field PROANA)

Select the completed production output type to analyze:

Overdue: To evaluate planned and completed production quantities on late work orders, comparing the first tracked production receipt with the expected work order completion date.

Lead time: To evaluate planned and completed production lead times.

Time: To evaluate planned and completed production operation load times.

Operational yield: To evaluate production operation yield from average production output quantity and time percentages, and reject percentages.

Material yield: To evaluate production yield from average production output and reject percentages.

Block number 3

Refresh the analysis (field CLCANA)

To analyze previous production analysis results, leave the checkbox clear.

Select the checkbox to generate new analysis data on the efficiency or productivity at the selected production site for 1 or a range of released products and completed work orders.
Analysis start date (field STRANA)

If you selected the Refresh the analysis checkbox, type in or select the date to analyze production from. Otherwise leave blank.

Note:

 If you enter the same period start date as a previous production analysis, the previous analysis results are deleted.

Start - end range

Released product (field ITMREFDEB)

Filter for results within a range of products released to the selected production site. For a single released product, enter the same released product reference in the from/start Released product and to/end fields. To report upon the efficiency or productivity for all released products, leave blank.
field ITMREFFIN

The last released product reference in the range or leave blank.
Work order (field MFGNUMDEB)

Filter for results within a range of work orders completed at the selected production site. For a single work order, enter the same work order reference in the from/start Work order and to/end fields. To report upon the efficiency or productivity for all work orders, leave blank.
field MFGNUMFIN

The last work order reference in the range or leave blank.

Error messages

In addition to the generic error messages, the following messages can appear during the entry :

Site name: Not a production site

You have entered a site that is not a production site.

Mandatory field

The mandatory field is empty or contains an incorrect value.
