Production analysis
Use this function to evaluate production output at a single or multiple production sites between a range of dates.
You can generate resource and/or component analysis data for tracked work orders.
This function does not display the production analysis results. You need to use the Resource analysis report or Product axis report to analyze the data.
Previous analysis results are replaced with new analysis data if the period end date is duplicated.

Screen management
The Production analysis function contains a single screen into which you enter your selection criteria.
Entry screen
Enter the selection criteria, then select OK to generate the production analysis data.
You are returned to the menu. You need to use the Resource analysis report or Product axis report to analyze the data.

Select the type of production output to analyze. Resources: To generate analysis data on the efficiency and productivity of each tracked work center and work center group operating at the selected production sites. Materials: To generate analysis data from the tracked and closed work orders. Analysis data includes delays, lead times, times and quantities, and component use. All: To generate all tracked resource and work order production data for the selected production sites. |
Analysis period
Period start (field PERSTR) |
Type in or select the date to analyze production from. The default start date is the first date of the period before the current period. |
Period end (field PEREND) |
Type in or select the date to analyze production to. The default end date is the last date of the period before the current period.

Grid Site list
Site (field FCY) |
Type in or select the work order production site. |
Name (field FCYNAM) |
The production site name. |
Batch task
This function can be run in batch mode. The standard task FUNANL is provided for that purpose.
Error messages
In addition to the generic error messages, the following messages can appear during the entry :
Site name: Not a production site:You have entered a site that is not a production site.
Mandatory fieldEnter or select a production site or select ESC if the Site list table includes all production sites to analyze.
